Janine is a singing specialist in children's voices and is an experienced music teacher, researcher and performer.

Every child has a voice and every voice is important. When a child's love of singing is paired with supportive teaching and home environments, their enthusiasm and confidence grows and they can develop this most natural of instruments. Janine has successfully prepared students for cathedral choral scholarships, and exams (Trinity Rock and Pop, Rockschool, LAMDA Musical Theatre, Trinity Classical and ABRSM Classical). As well as being a singer and singing teacher, Janine also teaches piano, flute, recorder and theory.

Carmen Ross: Drums, Percussion, Piano and Theory

Carmen has enjoyed playing the piano and drums from a young age. She began piano lessons when she was 6 years old and quickly grew in musical confidence. Carmen has played in bands and composed since she was in school and university. She now shares her love of music through teaching and enjoys nurturing the budding talents of children and adult beginners through to advanced levels. Carmen is still a regular performer and is proficient in preparing students for formal exam boards (ABRSM and Trinity). She is also comfortable teaching contemporary music styles, chord reading and jazz improvisation. 'One formula does not fit everyone and, as such, my lessons work around the needs of my students.'
